Getting Started
My data is messy and lives in different places. Can you still work with it?
Yes. Most engagements start with exports from a POS system, accounting software, an e-commerce platform, or plain Excel files. Cleaning and combining them into one reliable dataset is the first step of every project, and it is budgeted into every package.
How much data do I need before analytics is worth it?
As a rule of thumb, one year of sales history is enough for most questions, and two years is enough for seasonal patterns. If your data is thinner, we will tell you at the scope call and suggest what to collect first.
Do I need to buy new software or hire a data team?
No. We work with what you already have. Deliverables open in a browser or in Excel, and the dashboard and AI assistant run without any new system on your side.
What industries do you work with?
Retail, F&B, service businesses, e-commerce sellers, and clinics, mostly in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. If your business collects sales or customer data, the methods apply.
Data and Security
Is my business data safe with the AI assistant?
The assistant is governed by design. It can only run a fixed set of approved queries against a read-only copy of your data. It cannot write its own database queries, browse your records freely, or send data anywhere else.
Who sees my data?
The analyst working on your project. Published case studies are always anonymized: no client names, no identifying details, and aggregated figures where needed.
Can you sign a confidentiality agreement?
Yes. Send yours or ask for our standard one at the scope call.
Deliverables
What exactly do I receive?
Depending on the package: a plain-English case study, an interactive dashboard, and an AI assistant built on your data. Flagship engagements ship all three from the same numbers, so all three always agree.
How long does a Business Diagnostic take?
Typically within one week from receiving your data. You get written findings, the key points explained in a call, and clear recommended actions.
Will I understand the findings without a technical background?
That is the standard the work is held to. If the owner cannot read the findings without a translator, the work has failed. Methods are documented for those who want the detail, but the findings are written in plain language.
What if my question is not in your service list?
Tell us anyway. If your data can answer it, we will scope it as a custom diagnostic. If it cannot, we will say so plainly and tell you what data you would need to start collecting.
Pricing and Terms
Is there a lock-in period for monthly packages?
No. Monthly packages run month to month. We would rather earn the renewal with useful findings than hold you with a contract.
Which package should I start with?
If you have one pressing question, start with the Business Diagnostic. If you want the numbers watched continuously, start with Growth Tracker and upgrade when the findings earn it. When in doubt, email us the question and we will recommend honestly.
Do you work outside Malaysia?
Yes. The work is remote-friendly and we regularly analyze businesses across Southeast Asia. Deliverables are in English.
